The Social Service Unit exists to:

• assist patients and their folks/companions adjust to the hospital situation, its service, limitations, policies, rules and regulations;
• assist patients solve their problems which affect their medical condition and;
• assist the Physicians and other health personnel understand the socio-behavioral and economic situation of patients and their families for a holistic management.
